Cardiology Animation

Medical cardiology animations allow the viewer to see the intricacies of the heart and heart function in a 3D animation. It acts as a visualization tool that offers a detailed look at the cardiovascular system. Professionals in the medical industry look to Ghost Productions for high-end 3D medical animations, and as one of the pioneers in medical 3D animation, we set the industry standard. Our extensive background in medical anatomy and 3D rendering lead to the highest-quality animations and interactive media around.

Detailed Cardiovascular System Animation

Using 3D cardiology animation in a medical video helps explain complex vascular structures, and demonstrates the interdependent functions of the four heart valves: the aortic, mitral, pulmonary and tricuspid. It is easier to understand the cardiovascular system by watching a 3D heart animation because the way that all of the parts of the heart work together is demonstrated in these cardiac animations. A heart 3D animation demonstrates the interdependencies of the heart and the circulatory system in a more dynamic way than viewing a static heart medical illustration.

However, one advantage of creating a circulatory system 3D animation is the ability to capture any single frame as a high-resolution image. A heart physiology animation runs at 30 frames per second. This means that for every minute of cardiovascular animation there are 1,800 still images to choose from in order to make a heart medical illustration. Many clients use both the 3D animation of the heart and a beautiful still capture as a heart illustration in their presentations.

Heart Animation for Training and Informed Patient Care

A heart animation video is a useful tool to show cardiac surgical procedures and to demonstrate new cardiovascular treatment technologies. Medical students and patients thinking about undergoing surgical procedures are able to comprehend how the surgery works, what the benefits are, and how the surgeon performs the procedure.

Our cardiovascular system animations, illustrations and interactive media help hundreds of our clients explain stent implants, balloon catheters, heart-valve replacements, automatic external defibrillators, pharmaceutical products for cardiology treatments, and robotic-assisted surgery.

Why Choose Ghost Productions for Heart Animation Videos?

Our team creates the highest quality medical animations and interactive media in the industry. We first pioneered the use of 3D surgical animations in 1994 and still push the field’s limits today. When you hire our company, you receive the most deluxe 3D medical media available. Let us bring heart function to life using our advanced rendering techniques.

To achieve this goal, we need 3D heart assets that behave like their real-life counterparts Our 3D cardiovascular anatomy, used for our medical device animations, is accurate and comprehensive.

We have staff members who understand human anatomy and can create a realistic cardiology medical animation. With this valuable 3D asset, we are empowered to explain heart anatomy, physiology and pathology to a wide range of audiences, from surgeons to patients.

Our team works on your terms. When you request our services, we will discuss your vision for your cardiology animation project. No matter your experience with 3D heart animations, we will explain everything you need to know. We will collaborate with you as a strategic resource partner to support your medical device marketing, build integrated media solutions, and supply you with the creative assets needed for your next campaign. View the case study below to see an example of our work process and our philosophy.

Varicose Vein Treatment Ad Case Study

Varicose Vein Treatment Commercial for CIS (Cardiovascular Institute of the South)

PROJECT MISSION: Produce a beautifully rendered 30-second 3D cardiology animation for the Cardiovascular Institute of the South. Demonstrate CIS’ varicose vein treatment in a commercial advertising spot featuring the animation.

Varicose Veins Animated Video – Cardiovascular Institute of the South – Ghost Productions from Ghost Productions on Vimeo.

SOLUTION: Combine beautiful 3D cardiovascular system animation, showing the pathology in 3D animation of a patient’s legs before varicose vein treatment, with existing still images of actual patients, also before varicose vein treatment.

SOLUTION: Show the before-and-after differences of the treatment by combining cardiovascular system animation with still images of actual patients. Create an eye-catching, cohesive advertisement with advanced production techniques.

After separating the still images’ visual content, we added 3D post effects. By adding 3D elements to the stills, we blended the real-life and rendered aspects of the animation seamlessly. Mike Ackerman, our post-effects specialist, balanced the visuals’ colors for further cohesion.

Our lighting and shading team, led by Jas Bajric, paid careful attention to the visuals’ tuned subsurface light scattering and contrast sensitivity. As a result, the 3D renders of the legs’ anatomy practically came to life.

We consider this project to be one of our best cardiovascular animations involving peripheral vascular disease thanks to our team’s attention to detail. It was the fifth animated ad we developed for CIS. Every time we work with this client, we create fulfilling results that make an impact on their success. Each cardiovascular animation we create on their behalf feels like a part of a cohesive series. Great job, team!
