This medical device is designed to assist surgeons in locating and mapping motor nerves during surgical procedures. By using mechanomyographic (MMG) signals and electrical stimulus of nerves, Sentio provides real-time information to the surgeon to help assess a patient's neurophysiologic status. The device features accelerometer-based sensors, eliminating the risk of needle stick injury, and provides a direct relationship between stimulation current and distance to the nerve. With a high degree of sensitivity and specificity, Sentio confirms nerve location and improves procedural efficiency while reducing overall cost of care.
