Creating realistic skin tones in 3D animations is a complex process that requires an in-depth understanding of skin's multi-layered structure.
To achieve natural-looking skin, our team employed advanced skin shading techniques and rendered our animations using Redshift. We experimented extensively with skin shaders to capture the subtleties of different skin tones. This involved simulating the interaction of light with the epidermis, dermis, and subcutaneous tissue. By accurately depicting how light bounces off and penetrates these layers, we created a realistic portrayal of skin under various conditions.
