What PRIDE means to Ghost Productions

Ghost Medical has a long tradition of supporting the LGBTQ+ community, but this year our leadership team came together to clarify WHY it is so important to us. Many of our team members have made individual contributions, but as our company has grown over the past 28 years, we wanted to clarify what unites and ignites us. Typically, we do this through creating 3D models, animations, or simulations but we wanted to give a personal voice to why we support pride month.

Ghost Medical celebrates Pride month and joins the effort to improve the education and raise awareness of issues in the continual pursuit of equal access and treatment of healthcare for the LGBTQ+ community. We recognize the injustices suffered from historical suppression, including improper institutionalization, restricting access to care (either directly or through shaming), and any acts or behaviors that would contribute to a person’s own feelings of self-worth.

We are fortunate to work with new innovations in medical devices and health care procedures and our purpose includes explaining medicine for the benefit of humanity. All of humanity, without prejudice or qualifiers. We embrace this position personally and professionally. This is who we are and why we acknowledge Pride month.
