Ghost Productions is hiring! We are looking for a creative and hard working Medical Director to join our studio.

Job Title

Medical & Creative Director
Primary Responsibilities
– Communicate with clients to discover desires/needs for the anatomy and medical accuracy of their projects
– Address client’s needs for projects
– Work directly with Clients to create project outlines
– Create Outlines/Storyboards to direct production staff
– Create or direct creation of anatomical assets from storyboard and concepts
– Research anatomy reference for projects
– Handle medical accuracy
– Direct anatomy models and accuracy to ensure highest quality possible considering project restraints
– Fully understand anatomic accuracy and relevant anatomy for projects
– Create concepts and styles guides for projects
– Create and Direct Ghost marketing pieces (postcards, sales sheet, sourcebook ad, etc)
– Fully understand client branding and ensure proper utilization throughout production process
– Create content to help Ghost influence decision making and speculative concepts to clients
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
– Create/Direct medically accurate content for pre-production assets.
– Effectively communicate client ideas through a visual medium.
– Meet production deadlines.
– Teamwork and leadership
– Accurately turn ideas into visual concepts
– Communicate with management about deadlines, availability, overages, technology and staff requirements
– Incorporate client feedback.
– Lead, direct and challenge other producers at the company to create new and innovative visual styles
– Fulfill objectives and directives of directors and managers.

Associate Degree or equivalent experience
Knowledge Requirements (licenses, programs, or certifications) 
– Adobe CS Suite, Maya, Storyboarding Software

– Knowledge and competency with drawing, medical anatomy, 4th dimensional storytelling and 3D software.
Physical Requirements

– The ability to operate computer equipment.
Other Information
– Special Information (Travel required, on-call schedule, etc):
– Occasional need to put in greater than 50 hours per week during heavy production and/or short deadlines.
– Occasional requirements to travel to other cities for marketing events, NASS*, AAOS*, AUA*, SIGGRAPH etc.(*Medical Conferences)
– Continuing education opportunities may require travel to other cities, SIGGRAPH etc.
